Who are we
The Fundaciòn Emmanuel is a non-profit association,
free from any religious denomination. Every day Fundaciòn Emmanuel supports and accompanies more than a hundred families living in precarious conditions.
The aim of the association is to assert the right of the child to live in a family.
Our actions
The Fundaciòn Emmanuel has undertaken different actions to offer help to families:
•
It has innovated a model of solidarity action. The association trains volunteer families in order to give them the means to take in children while respecting their families of origin.
The foster family is a complement to, not a substitute for, the birth family.
To date, more than 25 foster families trained by the association have welcomed 140 children

•
It has created the Tia Kiki community centre.
The centre welcomes 115 children every day, and offers them lunch and snacks.
"Tia Kiki" offers many activities around and for the child.

> There is a crèche for 45 young children.
> 70 children between the ages of 4 and 17 benefit from extracurricular activities.
They can find school support, participate in language, computer or music courses.
Reading and circus workshops (juggling, acrobatics, trampoline, balance, etc.) are also offered.
> A non-violence awareness programme is aimed at teenagers.
>For adults, the centre offers parenting guidance and professional training workshops.
